On Tuesday 10th April 2018 at the Novotel Newcastle Beach, ‘Redleaf’ was awarded ‘the #1 wedding venue in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley in the DIY category’ as part of The Brides Choice Awards.
These awards are dedicated to recognising, supporting and rewarding wedding businesses that operate in Regional Areas of Australia, by celebrating and recognising the pinnacle of professionalism within the wedding services industry. The Brides Choice Awards are only voted by couples having been married over the past 12-18 months.
The award for the #1 wedding venue recognises the beautiful estate that is ‘Redleaf’, owned by Matthew Low and Michael Edwards, as well as their professionalism and expertise in hosting weddings.
‘Redleaf’ is a luxury country retreat set on 100 spectacular acres, only 3 kilometres from the historic township of Wollombi, and a short drive to the iconic wineries of the beautiful Hunter Valley. With 10 acres of manicured gardens, the elegant Italian style villa retreat is the perfect location for a fairy-tale wedding, which has now been voted as such in receiving this award.
Secluded, peaceful, indulgent and private, the property can host an intimate wedding for 60 in the private Redleaf Barn or larger numbers with a marquee in the extensive gardens.
This award is a deserved tribute to a truly beautiful wedding venue.
