Olive Oil Skin Care
Olive Oil Skin Care Company emerged from humble beginnings in 2005 with a family’s simple philosophy: to share the exceptional benefits of olive oil for the skin, particularly with those who suffer from sensitive skin conditions.
Stephen Balogh, a semi-retired psychologist living with his wife Julie on their farm in the Hunter Valley, founded Olive Oil Soap Company after spending several years developing a unique process to make Pure Olive Oil Soap. His initial motivation was out of concern for Julie, who had suffered for many years from the chronic skin conditions eczema and psoriasis. After searching for natural alternatives to the chemical-based creams and lotions she was being prescribed, Stephen began to concentrate his research into the natural moisturising benefits of olive oil for the human skin.
Today, with Stephen’s eldest son Adam on board as General Manager, Olive Oil Skin Care Company has evolved to produce and export Stephen’s multi-award winning Pure Olive Oil Soap all over the world including Japan, China, Singapore and Taiwan, as well as develop and manufacture a unique range of certified organic skin care products utilising the natural wonders of olive oil, all with one simple aim: ‘to nourish your skin naturally’.
