In our corner of Hunter Valley Wine Country, the Wollombi Valley’s vineyards have been producing fine wines in this region since the 1850’s. Wine tastings and sales are available in town or at the winery cellar doors, many of which also stock delicious local produce. The vineyards and wineries of the Valley are small, boutique operations run by their passionate owner operators. The grapes are picked by hand and each crop is made into small, exclusive vintages. The results are rare, award and trophy-winning wines of exceptional quality that are extremely popular with visitors and locals alike. We boast an impressive range for a small area so tastings of the Wollombi Valley varieties, include Chambourcin, Semillon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Muscat. Personalised tours to observe the boutique winemaking process at work are available and our annual grape harvest, the “Vintage” in Autumn each year is not to be missed. Tours can be arranged directly at the cellar door.
