The Wollombi Wine Trail begins near the historic village of Wollombi on the convict built Great North Road. Vineyards have been producing fine wines in this region since the 1850s when Wollombi was a thriving agricultural centre. Throughout November each year, the Wine Trail wineries host Sculpture in the Vineyards.
