2018 marks 10 years for the lantern parade. The theme this year is the third and final year for animals. Specifically 10 animals that Taronga Zoo have chosen as their Taronga’s 10 Legacy Species.
There will be a lantern making stall in Wollombi on Sunday’s 5th, 12th and 19th August 10am to 1pm. Also on Saturday 25th August at Laguna P & C Art Show from 10am to 3pm, for you to make a lantern and bring with you to the parade. From 4pm there will be children’s games, BBQ and March Past at the Laguna Village Green with the parade set to begin on dusk, finishing with a bonfire. Food and drink will be available to purchase.
