Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eddy Rockefeller (aka Eddy Tolhurst) is from a musical family and was classically trained in violin and piano since the age of four. Picking up a guitar at the age of sixteen and discovering a love of singing, she began writing her own material at the age of seventeen, varying from blues to pop to rock and increasing her repertoire as she went. She has won an array of singing and songwriting competitions and in 2017 she competed in a Worldwide singing completion with 34 participating countries. This resulted in her winning a spot flying overseas to represent Australia, eventually placing 5th in the world. Now returned to Australia she has a new focus on her original music.
Eddy returns to the Wollombi Tavern for one of our relaxing Sunday afternoon sessions. Drop in, enjoy a burger and a beer while listening to this great musician from Newcastle. Not a bad day for it!
