In this 3-hour course you will study the forms in plants and explore watercolour techniques, how to lay wet and dry washes and mix greens. You will gain an appreciation of the form and beauty of plants which will give you the confidence to appreciate the foundations of Botanical Art.

About the teacher – Penny studied painting and drawing at the Julian Ashton Art School, Sydney. Her formal training there gave her a deep appreciation that the insight of observational drawing provides.

She has been teaching for many years in Sydney and the Hunter area. She has combined her two passions of plants and art and enjoys sharing her love of botanical art with her students.
