Join us as flûtiste extraordinaire, Jane Rutter, performs French cabaret, chansons & classical favourites including French baroque & pieces by Piaf, Aznavour, Faure, Debussy, Poulenc, Ravel and Michel Legrand.
Accompanied by virtuoso accordionist Marcello Maio and pianist Vincent Colagiuri, Jane performs on six different flutes in this ‘up-close and personal’ evening of great French music.
Knighted by France in 2016 for her services to music (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters), Jane is a Renaissance woman who pioneered the trend of taking fine classical music to the people. Due to her French heritage, when she plays, her flute transcends traditional limits.
The evening includes bubbles and canapés on arrival to set the mood for a soirée that promises to transport you to the vibrant and bohemian streets of Paris. Vive la France!
