Wollombi Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade

This is a community based emergency service staffed by local residents. The brigade is trained to respond to fires and motor vehicle accidents. Wollombi V.B.F.B. members were active participants in the Black Christmas fires of 2001/2, manning crews around the clock at Big Yengo and responding to fires in the Cessnock area. Volunteers are welcome in all capacities from firefighters to support crew.
