“Our destination, Settlers Cottage at Undercliff Winery, is on a well-used dirt road just outside the village. It’s dark when we arrive but the winery dog (named Tannin) welcomes us with loud enthusiasm and, if allowed, would follow us all the way to the cottage. The cottage is set into a hill overlooking the vineyard, just a short stroll from the cellar door.”
