“Cutting-edge works by the Valley New Art Group are on display at Wollombi Cultural Centre’s Old Fire Shed Gallery until August 31.

‘Symposium’ – an exhibition of new paintings and drawings by 13 artists – launched at the gallery on August 15.

Senior artist, teacher and mentor of the group, Stephen James said the exhibition was inspired by the philosopher Plato’s classical text ‘The Symposium’.”
