Millbrook Estate Winery has just been successful in winning the “Business Energy Saving Tips” competition from TRUenergy for the month of March. The competition was run by Energy Australia and Millbrook Estate received an Apple iPad2 with wifi+3G (valued approx. $1,000). Winemaker/owner John Lyons said Millbrook’s Underground cellar and gravity system biolytic waste treatment recycling plant, together with solar lights and trials of ‘CelStab’ cold stability of wine, were influential in winning the award. “The savings on power bills is substantial”, he said.
