“The beloved Aussie post-punk rock icons will play 10 winery gigs around the country in 2014 – scenes a world away from the grotty pubs in which they made their name – and two indoor shows between Australia Day and mid-April. The theatre shows will be at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, but it seems probable extra shows will be added given the hype around the band’s carefully-orchestrated return.

In addition to their Grand Final pre-match songs, the band is the subject of a new tribute album, Crucible, which features artists such as Eddie Vedder and Neil Finn (who tackle the cult hit Throw Your Arms Around Me), Birds of Tokyo and Something for Kate covering 15 of their songs.”
