“Have you ever wondered about the talented and crafty hands that created your favourite bottle of Shiraz? Wonder no more. June 14th will see the launch of the inaugural Meet the Makers Pop-Up Wine & Food Festival in the beautiful Broke Fordwich region, a quick 20 minute drive from the heart of the Hunter Valley.
The exclusive pop-up event will see boutique growers, makers and masters behind Australia’s finest wines, olive oils and other produce throw in their rubber boots to share their secrets from the country’s oldest winemaking region.
For one day only, you will have the opportunity to not only rub shoulders with talented and somewhat mysterious winemakers and olive oil processors from the country’s most loved wine region, but you will have the opportunity to sample and take home a plethora of wines and olive oils that certainly cannot be found on shop shelves.
The main hub of the event will be held at the intimate Broke Hall in the historic Broke Village where visitors are invited to sign in from 10am. Entry tickets, including tasting glasses will be available for purchase for $10.”
