Join us for the opening of Sculpture in the Vineyards 2017 at Stonehurst Cedar Creek. Enjoy local wine, food and music as you explore some of this year’s creative pieces amongst the gardens, tree grove and vineyard. An Indigenous Smoking Ceremony will mark the welcoming of locals, visitors and artists alike to the Wollombi Valley, before this year’s guest Judith White, former Executive Director Art Gallery Society, NSW and author of acclaimed ‘Culture Heist: Art vs Money’, officially opens this year’s exhibition. At 6pm, judges Anh Wells, Director and Gallery Owner of Gallery 139, Newcastle and Founder of Independent Galleries Newcastle, and Braddon Snape, lecturer at the University of Newcastle and Founder of The Creator Incubator, will announce this year’s award winners.
This free exhibition, a month long celebration of art, wine, food and culture, will continue until 3rd December.
