After 10 years on the road performing in country towns and in the pubs of the Australian outback with the biggest blues band in the land, The Blues Cowboys, Ezra Lee released his debut album in 2009. Entitled ‘You Can’t Stop a Freight Train’ on Preston Records, the album was seen by fans as a great new take on the sound of 1950s blues, rockabilly and boogie R&B.
Don Walker (Cold Chisel, Tex Don & Chalie) described Ezra Lee as “the best rock ‘n’ roll piano player around” and if it’s good enough for Don…. let’s just say we cannot wait for Ezra to tear up a little corner of GNTP.
