It’s the Wollombi party no-one dares miss – The Aquarius Party featuring legendary Newcastle rock band The Milestones. They are a rock’n’roll band who play a lot of songs from the sixties (because music was better then). Rather than being treated as museum pieces, these tunes are given room to breathe, being played with passion, virtuosity (Nick Raschke on guitar…) and three part harmonies.
The Milestones have become one of Newcastle’s most popular bands but they are also pretty bloody happy to get out of town for a change and can think of nowhere better for it than the Wollombi Tavern (one of the better places in the world) to party with the locals.
Come along early and enjoy one of our famous burgers or 400gm steaks and as always the bar will be more than open throughout.
