Wollombi Valley Landcare Group is an association of local landholders who share information and work together towards better management of our soil, water, plants and animals. The group was formed in 1991 in response to erosion damage from floods. We have been successful in gaining funding to help address these problems. Every second month we hold a meeting or field day with guest speakers addressing a wide range of topics. We also publish a newsletter available by email and post.
The group is affiliated with the Australia wide Landcare movement and typically meets on the 3rd Saturday of February, April, June, August and October and the 2nd Saturday in December to share information on land management issues.
