Tidy Valleys, a voluntary community group, initiates and fundraises scenic, environmental and historic projects to enhance the valley. Supported by Cessnock City Council, Tidy Valleys projects include floodlighting historic local buildings, involvement in Convict Trail undertakings, establishment of Anzac Reserve, rehabilitation of Anzac Reserve Wetland 2002. New members welcomed, no fees.
