The Laguna Volunteer Bushfire Brigade is a dedicated team of local residents committed to protecting the lives, property, and environment of the beautiful Wollombi Valley. Staffed entirely by volunteers, we are a proud brigade of the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS).
While our primary role is responding to bushfires, our services extend to a wide range of emergencies, including:
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Storm damage and fallen trees
- Floods and natural disasters
- Search and rescue operations
- Community assistance
We are your neighbours, friends, and colleagues, on call 24/7 to keep our community safe.
Get Involved:
Thinking of giving back to the community? We welcome new volunteers in all capacities. Whether you’re interested in frontline firefighting or providing vital support from the station (communications, logistics, catering, community engagement), there’s a role for you. No experience is necessary – all training and equipment is provided. It’s a fantastic way to learn new skills, meet great people, and make a real difference.
