Settlers Kitchen at Mulla Villa (c 1840) is a new dining experience in Wollombi – the restaurant is in the old house that was built prior to the main residence. It has the old kitchen fire place where we now have an open fire going during the cool weather. The walls are the original stone work made by the original settlers prior to the main house being built. It has been restored, including a picturesque verandah, to make an ideal location for your next Hunter Valley getaway.
You can also enjoy a tour through the 1840 convict built home and the interesting convict accommodation, or a wander around the property to visit various historic sites.
Settlers Kitchen is open every Friday and Saturday night for dinner. Breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea available 7 days a week. We feature great home cooking such as Veal Osso Buco and Chicken Schnitzel, Sticky Date Pudding and Apple Rhubarb Crumble, and are fully licensed.
We accept group bookings 7 days a week, so please contact us to organise a group booking.
